The Freedom of Not Caring

 Nothing is awkward or cheesy if you simply don’t care. Life is far too short to be bound by the rules of cool, to shrink yourself just to fit someone else’s idea of what’s acceptable.

I’m not here to be admired from afar, to craft an image of perfection. I’m here to live, to laugh, to make mistakes, and to experience everything in its messiness. So what if it’s cheesy? So what if it’s not “cool”? I’m on this earth to have a good time, not to be a version of myself that others approve of.

And honestly? That’s the most freeing thing in the world.
